COMPANY ETHICS

PROPLASTEK pays maximum attention to the themes of integrity and sustainability, acting a policy of compliance of commercial and working ethic, and wants to respect normative and regulations in force in this field.
Proplastek puts its basis on principles and regulations that are coherent, and in some cases a consequence, of the human rights charts listed below:
– The UN Human Rights Council Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (2011)
-ILO Declaration of the International Organization of Work about fundamental principles and rights in work

HUMAN RIGHTS:
PROPLASTEK ensures and will ensure the respect of the rights, privacy and personal dignity of every person, it will forbid behaviors and languages that could result sexual offensive, intimidating, coercive or tending to exploitation.
Every worker has to follow the behavior code, and to satisfy the national laws and regulations about human rights.
Every person has to work to reduce the risk of rights violation, identifying the risks, monitoring them, finding a remedy to violations or reporting the violation to its superiors or directly to the Management if necessary.

WORK CONDITIONS
CHILD LABOUR
PROPLASTEK does not hire and will never hire workers with age under 16 years old, apart from people that participate to authorized state programs of professional training, apprenticeship or educational internship.

SALARY
PROPLASTEK ensures and will ensure to its workers a fair and competitive salary according to the regulations and the collective agreement.

HARD LABOUR
PROPLASTEK does not exploit and will never exploit hard labour, or not voluntary labour from prisoners

FREE ASSOCIATION AND COLLECTIVE NEGOTIATION
PROPLASTEK recognizes and will respect the right of its workers to associate in free associations or collective agreements. It guarantees and will ever guarantee meetings for dialogue and proposals for its workers.

DISCRIMINATION AND HARASSMENT
PROPLASTEK does not tolerate and will never tolerate behaviors of discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, nationality, sexual and religious orientation, disability or age.

WORKING TIME
PROPLASTEK respects and will respect the regulations in force for working time, respecting and assuring the days of rest due.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
PROPLASTEK provides and will provide to guarantee and maintain a working environment safe and healthy for all the workers, by using all the legal standards applicable for protection of safety and health, and by assuring a correct training about control and prevention systems.

RAW MATERIALS COMPLIANCE
PROPLASTEK ensures and will ensure the respect of the normative in force about the use of raw materials with prohibition or limitation of some substances, including those dangerous.

COMMERCIAL ETHIC
PROPLASTEK protects and will protect confidential information provided by its Customers and commercial partners.
PROPLASTEK conforms and will conform to the international dispositions about commerce and exportation.

ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY
PROPLASTEK undertakes the effort, and will continue to do it, to reduce and minimize the environmental impacts of its products, always looking to implement new strategies for environmental sustainability.
